Missouri campaign update

In the Senate race between candidates Roy Blunt (R), and Robin Carnahan (D), Blunt's lead continues to rise, going from 7.2 last week to 9.4 this week. There has been no change reported in regards to the 4th district congressional race between Ike Skelton (D) and Vicky Hartzler (R), or in the 3rd district race between Russ Carnahan (D), and Ed Martin (R). RealClearPolitics still lists the 4th district race as a toss up, and the 3rd district as likely Democrat, as Carnahan has a significant lead on Martin.
Skelton has recently posted a new campaign ad on his website, accusing Hartzler, the Republican candidate of not supporting the right to bear arms, and opposing the NRA and concealed and carry laws. In most areas, this would come as a surprise, because it isn't too often that a Democrat candidate accuses the Republican of not supporting the 2nd Amendment, but the 4th district of Missouri is a very rural area with a large veteran population, and many farms, which would perhaps explain the swap.

Hartzler, on the other hand, has also posted a new ad, which prominently features audio of Skelton muttering some choice words (presumably while on the floor). The ad claims that Skelton wants to provide welfare benefits and amnesty to illegal immigrants, and supports new energy taxes that would cost numerous jobs.
